While consumers are familiar with Spanish wine and olive oil, many remain unaware that Spain has a deep-rooted culture that is steeped in nothing less than passion and dedication for both wine and olive oil. Most Americans are unfamiliar with the depth and quality of products available. Spain is the world's largest producer of olive oil and has more land "under-vine" than any other country in the world. It's temperate climate and moderate conditions play a vital role in shaping the unique physiological characteristics of both crops.

For both Olive Oil and Wine, Spaniards have mastered the art of blending to bring more character from the land into each varietal.

Wine - Spain is currently embarking on a wine revolution in it's own right. While it's wine making traditions are steeped in long oak aging, it is developing an appreciation for young wines that still carry the Spanish spirit and it's distinctive traditions. Our Toro Loco brand offers the consumer the best of both worlds. Our "Joven" (young) wines are ready to drink when bottled, while our aged "Roble" (oak) and Pedro Ximenez varietals offer the best in mature quality wines

Olive Oil -Like fine wine, each variety of olive is unique, and the olive oils, made from distinct varieties taste, smell, and look different. With our estate grown Toro Dorado and Cortijo Rey olive oils each artisan takes care to hand select the very best olives and blend the oils from selected varieties in a way that makes his oil distinctive and worthy of tasting.
